watchguard -> cannot migrate configuration > error: The model number must not be lower than the base model


when you migrate the configuration you get this error:
The model number must not be lower than the base model:


->> solution / workaround:
in configuration file search for a line like
<base-model>X5500e</base-model>

>> remove the model number and save file and try again
