linux / grub bootloader does not show up - how to fix this



$ sudo vi /etc/default/grub

#check this settings, especially if the STYLE is set to hidden > change it to menu!

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden -> GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu

GRUB_TIMEOUT=0 -> GRUB_TIMEOUT=10

after changes run $ sudo update-grub

$ reboot
