fail2ban - how to whitelist an ip address

use case: ip address 192.168.2.99 should never be blocked

solution:
file: /etc/fail2ban/jail.local

>> line ignoreip =
ignoreip = 192.168.2.99

>> restart the service: /etc/init.d/fail2ban restart
